Groton, Massachusetts. Cross-country skiing practice, no snow. The team was in the middle of a game of capture the flag in the woods, when I scratched myself in the eye on the tip of a branch.

Later, the athletic trainer put flourescing drops in my eye to see the cut, a small tear in the surface of my cornea.

No permanent damage.
